OT - To Jim and Steve from Kurt
« on: June 12, 2003, 11:10:53 am »

I am deeply moved, humbled, and just plain blown away by a post that I just read over in the admin section of iPodlounge.

Jim, Steve, thank you.  A thousand times thank you.  I really have no idea what to say or how to act in the face of what is quite possibly the nicest thing that anyone's ever done for me.

Chris, if you catch this message, I'd like to extend the same to you.  I wish you could read the post that I'm talking about, but since you can't, I'll be sending you a PM in a little while, once I regain my composure.

My sincerest thanks again for this wholly unexpected and appreciated gesture.  May you be one with the Tao,

Kurt

Kurt had all his computer stuff stolen and some other rotten luck.  His pals are contributing parts.  JRiver is chipping in.

Kurt, besides being a really great guy to have around on these forums, has contributed immensely to the development of our iPod support, through giving Steve great feedback, advice, and encouragement.

Go, Kurt.  Hope this is the first of the sort of luck you deserve.

Kurt,

I have some surplus parts.  Let me know what you are looking for and if I have the part(s), I'll send them to you... We need you back on the "team" in full force as soon as possible  ;).

It is why  this place is not like any other.

Sometimes i really feel that if JimH in front of me i would be really rude to him.
When ,deep inside , i DO KNOW , that in fact i just would smile to him....

No enought 'doux dingue ' like him on earth

I have some memory sticks [?] and would send it to Kurt if of any use.

doux == sweet , smoth ,tender, fond -- in this expression-
dingue== mad ,crazy ,in a soft way , and really soft with doux before it.

By the way , having some very unpleasant and jerking [ ?]problems right now -  But at the same time kind of really funny and Max Brothers look alike problems- i may be offline for a certain time.
I am moving and do not plan to put internet connection at the top of 'the 'things to do'

Can be a VERY good thing after 5 years of total addiction

We'll miss you Zev.  I hope things get better for you soon.  Sorry to hear about what happened to you to Kurt.  Hope to see ya back up and running again soon.
