Settings lost
« on: June 09, 2018, 12:32:09 am »

I upgrade from MC23 to MC 24 Version 20.0.34 (MacOS)
1. All Settings are lost (even the driver to connect to my dac)
2. Whole library is gone - instead of asking for a library that should be loaded during first time installation MC24 is loading files from default folders like user/.../picture;user/.../music and so on - that is not a modern installation tool
3. Automatic Import Settings from previous MC Version are gone (see also point 3)
4. again and again it looses the availability to work with library tools - it just stops executing the desired menu-points
5. importing the stored library (MC 23) leads to loosing the whole menu-bar - and I cannot work any longer with MC and have to shut-down

I keep on trying but I think this is really not what I can expect from this version

Joachim

Solved problem after reinstallation the whole software again.
But Point point 1, 2 and 3 remains - point 4 and 5 vanished after reinstallation

Do a library backup in MC23 and restore the library backup in MC24. That should solve your problems (not sure how it could lose a driver though, that's up to the OS, not MC).
