Can't Update My Older IdPi Card SOLVED!

I have been trying to update using option 12 and it doesn't seem to work. I have tried it using VNC and directly with connected screen, mouse and keyboard. After entering 12 it scrolls through a bunch of text and then reboots. The versions remain the same at Id:22.0.79  MC:23.0.82.

I read in another thread that if option 12 doesn't work I will need to send the card in to JRiver or get a new one. Is that still the case, or is there some troubleshooting I can do?
