All tracks won't play
« on: November 01, 2018, 05:30:49 pm »

I hope someone can help me with a strange problem. I'm trying to play some 352khz files from my laptop to my Oppo's Audio DAC (the rear 'B' type). The file in question has 30 tracks (all 30 show in the MC24's Album and Recent Album windows), but only the first 10 make it to my DAC! I have some DSD files with similar track numbers, and it plays all of them without any problems, so it isn't a resolution problem. Any suggestions? Thanks. (Of course, I'm using the Oppo USB driver...)

I would guess that this is an album with two (or more) versions of the same songs:  Some with 2 channels and others with 5.1 channels.  I would further guess that the 5.1 channel tracks are the ones that will not play.

But that's all just a guess.

Brian.

Trying to play it from the Oppo's menu was the problem--not sure what exactly was going on, but after buying JRemote and controlling the files via it, everything is fine. Just one of those weird situations, I guess!
