MC on the Id was running fine after a lot of time configuring MC for my unique environment (with lots of thanks to those who assisted me). Now I observe that MC has not imported any new albums since Oct 19. I have added ~40 albums since Oct 19 (I'm ripping my old LP collection- a multi-year effort), but none of the new rips are showing up. Nothing in my configuration has changed (just checked) and I rebooted the Id to see if that would help, but to no avail. Any thoughts about what I can do?

Have you tried manually running auto-import? Does it work if you manually try to import a single folder?

I tried manually running the auto-import: Library=>Import, Configure Auto-Import=>select the media file- /mnt/BouvierWeinberg/. That is what I did last night and that is the way I typically do all of my imports. Results: Imported 0 new files.

I then tried a single folder: Library=>Import, Import a single folder=>select the media file-
Computer=>mnt=>BouvierWeinberg=>Jefferson Airplane=>Surrealistic Pillow=>select open and then finish. Results: Imported 0 new files.

Yes, that was what I wanted you to try.

Go into the external disk menu (option 20), and check the status of the mounts (option 13). It's possible that it's showing the folders without being mounted.

I wanted to add that the missing tracks I reported in my first post here are more than those I added after Oct 19. I have seen that far more tracks (before Oct 19) that are also missing. Maybe wipe all and import as new?
