theatre view and main GUI at the same time?

Silly Q

is there any possible way (under mac) to have theatre view running alongside the maim UI? so one could interact with main UI but get a nice output of current playing songs
if not is this even worth requesting? does this work on the windows version?

No, this is not supported, either on Windows or Mac. Theater View fully replaces the main UI.

Media Center is designed with having only one view, I don't think its particularly likely for this to change at this time.
