remove the pre-ordrer MC25 notification in JRiver 24?

how do i remove the 'pre-order MC25' notification in JRiver 24?
it's really annoying as it defaults over the start-up video window

If you are already on MC24.0.75, then turn off automatic updates. The message should stop.

If you aren't on MC24.0.75, why not?! Update to it and then turn off automatic updates.

MC24 won't automatically update to MC25 anyway, so the automatic updates are doing nothing for now.

It doesn't go away even if you install a MC25 licence. But it would make sense to hide it if a MC25 licence is installed in MC24. Actually, it could be enhanced to inform a user (with a MC25 licence installed in MC24) that MC25 has been released. That also could be enhanced depending on the upgrade channel being used (e.g. inform a user MC25 is released when it lands in the stable channel if they're on the stable channel in MC24).

The message in MC doesn't bother me, but you could do a better job with your mailing list. I bought the MC 25 license upgrade a long time ago, but I continue to receive regular emails urging me to upgrade to version 25.

That could be from an older email address that is still being forwarded.  You can look at the headers of the email to find out more.

Yes, Please ask the developers to make this a priority fix sometime during the MC25 run.  Awesome Donkey mentioned several good ideas on how to handle MC's upgrade notification panel.  The bottom line is: once a loyal MC customer responds to the upgrade offer and installs the next-version upgrade license, JRiver should follow up in a very positive way at least with:

1) MC's menu item: Help, Registration Info should display the newly installed license version.

2) MC's "Check for Updates" side panel should stop appearing at every launch, until it can announce that the Next Version has been released!

3) JRiver should suppress further promotional upgrade email messages to that licensee.

You say that should not happen?
I do have MC25 license with MC24, as I simply did not buy MC24 before, I jumped from MC23.
Bit annoying, and I think it is not fair
