Is there ability to match these plugins/scripts of rhythmbox in JMC?

I want to cache each song play to a text file for import into an ampache server which i use as my home last.fm

On top of that i want to merge my current play history into the JMC database. like these two do either using cache files or using a mysql query.

Is it easy to edit the library database? i'm happy to write plugins if needed i just don't use windows day to day.
