Issue registering MC25 Linux license
« on: January 13, 2019, 11:50:40 am »

Greetings gentlemen,

I purchased MC25 for Linux via initial dialog box of my trial version (MC24). When I try to register my MC, it informs me, that my license is for a different product. I know, MC25, hasn't been released yet, even so, perhaps it is possible to install MC25 via terminal with the help of sudo apt-get install mediacenter25 command? My trial ends in 8 days.

Thanks

Make sure you're using the latest build of MC24, 24.0.72, or else it won't accept a MC25 license.

You’ve been very helpful, AD, problem solved. I thought that using the general update/upgrade command was sufficient to keep me up-to-date.

Thank you
