MC 24 permanently crashing
« on: January 14, 2019, 03:46:06 pm »

MC 24 (newest build, Mojave last version) at the moment is permanently crashing.
The first times it happened while typing something into the search bar, the last time while playing a file.
Reports of the last two crashes are appended.

Looks like it doesn't like some M4A files you are trying to auto import.  A few files like this one (same directory):
/Volumes/Musik A-S/Shostakovich, Dmitri (1906 - 1975)/Sinfonien/Sinfonie Nr. 10 e-moll, op. 93/Shostakovich_Sinfonie10_Rattle_BPO_Proms08/01a. Ansage.m4a

Looks like they changed some stuff with m4a in build 68.  I would go back to a version before 68 and see if it works ok.  If so, it's probably the changes.  If not, it's probably broken files.

Auto import is disabled that can't be the reason for the crashes. Shutdown and restart didn't help.
Appended are the newest MC report and the system crash report.

This looks like another case of MP4 related crashes. That should hopefully be resolved in the next build.

@aliciaviola:  Looks like build 72 was just posted at the top of the forum.  You should download that and try it.  It specifically mentions problems with m4a files being fixed.  Hopefully that will be your solution!  :)
