Keep rating/POPM out of the files id3 tag?

I hate having my ratings go into the ID3 tags as i have multiple users with multiple tastes. I would like to use ratings but keep them out of the tag.

Is it possible to blacklist frames from tag changes and keep some of them database only?

Couldn't you just uncheck "Save in file tags (when possible)" for the rating field in the library?

I think that's exactly what i'm looking for, i'm only a week into using MC properly so i haven't found all the settings.
