This is an old problem, not just the recent version(s). I've set up a Split, 2-Row View. Bottom is usually locked at Playing Now, top is a standard audio view.

The problem is on the bottom Playing Now list. If I click on a star to add (or change) a rating, it will always change to something else instantly. 1-star will become 2-star, 2-star will become 3-star, 4-star may become no star at all etc. The second click will be accepted normally on the same track. Problem will reappear on another track.

I can't reproduce this.  Rating works perfectly normal on the bottom of the split view in Playing Now.

Maybe make sure you're running the latest version?

Any other ideas?

Thanks, running the latest version. Tried on a different PC which does not really have a MC library, it's "clean". Problem does not occur there, but it always does on my main PC with the old Library containing lots of stuff.

You could send a library backup to matt at jriver and maybe it would offer a clue?  Thanks.

This was a pretty tricky problem, but it should be fixed in MC25.

Here's the history:
Fixed: Clicking the star rating in an inactive tab would activate the tab, resize the tree, and make the click go to a different area.  Now the click is handled and then the tree resizes.
