Does USB-UIRT still work with MC

I just dug up an old USB-UIRT from my stash of stuff.  Does this still work with MC?  I want to use it on the Linux version of MC (v24.0.74).  Does it require a plugin?  I want to ultimately use my Harmony One (hub based) to control Theater View in MC.

Not sure about that device specifically.
I've used the generic linux remote support on our Id products and that works fine.
