My music collection seems to be defaulting to a single unknown artist pic when the cover art is unknown.

What is the easiest way to change the default cover art file?

Go to your MC installation folder.
You will see a folder called "Data" there. Go into that folder.
Create a new folder called "Custom Art"
Save your chosen default cover art file inside this "Custom Art" folder. I've always used a png file.
It must be named "NoThumbAudio.png"

Restart MC and the job is done.

All you need to remember is that if/when you upgrade to MC26, you will need to copy your custom folder into MC26's "Data" folder as it won't happen automatically.

By the time MC26 is released, this thread will be a distant memory. If GadgetBoy upgrades, he will wonder where his custom art went to, and will then remember that he needs to copy his folder. That's the theory anyway
