(Apologies if i posted these somewhere before i'm not sure where)
I've been using jriver android irregularly after updates to keep up on progress.
There are a few things that make it a nonstarter compared to just regular samsung music.
- Pulling out the headphone jack/disconnecting bluetooth doesn't stop playback.
- I only want one folder (SDCARD/Music) in my android library but can't remove/set folders. I don't mind everything being imported but it's just not in my usage scenarios to need anything else.
- I want to be able to play my whole library within a few taps.
(It's close to okay, i can hold down on artists and know that only audio is tagged but it would be better in the main screen.)
- Images has a folders section but audio doesn't.
- Playback in the car over bluetooth is hard to manage.
- Speed of play/pause/next can be really slow.
- The play/pause next buttons in the pulldown tray don't seem to work.
I'm going to clear my data and try all this again and see if that helps. there were two updates since i last cleared it out.
