License, Version, Lost?
« on: March 17, 2019, 08:38:40 pm »

Hi all,

I'm coming to the end of my trial period with MC24 and trying to figure out next steps. There is a ton of info but I'm kind of confused. To clarify, if I buy a master license now, I still need to buy an upgrade to MC25 if I want that version? And should there be an MC26, there would be a new fee for that?

If you bought any time now you would get MC25 included.

I only bought this year but there is an upgrade price for 26+ if you want those.

All licenses sold since at least late-December are MC25 licenses, which also work in the latest builds of MC24 as well. ;)

BTW a Master License is for all platforms:  Windows, Linux, and Mac.  If you only want a Mac license for MC, then just buy the Mac license.  The Master is nice to have though.  I run MC on 3 different platforms.

Thanks bigentry and Awesome Donkey! I was thinking of a master license in case I change platforms. I have Mac for work and every once in a while use a Windows machine at home.
