Can't Rip CD
« on: July 29, 2019, 11:13:51 am »

Hello, when I try to rip a CD all I get is the error message:

"The output directory could not be created for one or more files.

Please double-check the output directory in the ripping options."

When I pull down the "Rip" tab there is nothing about directories at all.

For a program that seems to have amazing capabilities, it is frustrating to get stuck on basics.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

MC's Options > File Location > Audio (CD rips and Podcasts). That's the directory that needs set when ripping CDs. Hope it helps. :)

Dear Awesome Donkey (Mr.? Ms.?)

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. It was very helpful to find out where to look, the error message isn't very helpful.

So, I found the Audio Tab and made a directory entitled Best Blues and saved the change.

This was all very exciting, but sadly, I still have the same error message.

Any further help is greatly appreciated.
