JRemote not working
« on: August 31, 2019, 03:27:04 pm »

JRemote has always worked well for me in the past, but today it will not work on any devices.  Here is what I've done to troubleshoot so far:
1. Verified internet is up and running well and the computer has access.
2. Computer has no firewall, so this should not be an issue.
3. Verified the Access Key--it hasn't changed and the settings on the tablets remain correct.
4. Tried connecting via the IP address method, and have forwarded port 52199 to the local IP address for the PC running JRiver

With the access key it just doesn't connect.

With the IP address it finds the computer it finds the right IP address on the port 52199 but then gives the following error:

Could not connect (failed to connect to /192.168.0.19 (port 52199) after 5000ms: isConnected failed: EHOSTUNREACH (no route to host))

I have no idea what that really means other than the connection didn't work.  I have no idea how to fix the issue.  Any suggestions?

see if you can connect using panel from a browser on one of your devices.  if not, then jremote is not the issue.

you might want to check your router’s firewall settings and logs, as well as windows.

It sounds like either the MC Server IP Address has changed or a firewall is blocking access.
