Soundblaster AE-9 ASIO stops working in MC 25
« on: August 31, 2019, 08:48:02 pm »

Now that the audio dropouts are behind me now, another issue has surfaced. I have MC in music only mode and it's set to use the standard ASIO driver (Not the DSD one). I have the power settings set to ultimate performance in Windows. Anyway, I'll be playing music and it will finish the song or album. During that time the screen will turn off as it is suppose to after 10 minutes. When I wake the monitor back up and try to play something else I will get a notification in MC that informs me that the file format is not supported using ASIO and that I should go in to DSP and change the frequency settings. The file is 24-bit 96Khz WAV file that is supported. I then close and reopen MC and the file will play normally. This happens all the time now. Now everything works fine in WASAPI mode. Is this a Bug or is there a setting that I haven't heard of yet. Or is it ASIO not playing nicely?
