Media Center Auto Starting
« on: September 14, 2019, 04:04:39 am »

Hello everyone,

Ever since the last update to media center 25, (25.0.98) whenever I start my pc, media center loads and starts playing automatically.

I'm running Windows 10, Build 1903.

I've gone into the settings under tools, options, startup and it's set to nothing under Windows Startup.

I checked windows startup in the task manager and it's not set to startup there either.

This just started happened after yesterday and I am not sure what triggered it.  The only thing I did was rip one of my Fleetwood mac cd sets to my collection. I have since removed the cd's. Nothing is mounted on any of my DVD drives either.

Has anyone else every experienced this issue before?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Is the "Start playing current playlist" accidentally checked in Startup Actions?

Or if you have just been Sleeping the PC instead of shutting it down, reboot the PC.

If MC isn't set in its Startup options, it must be already running, which implies the PC was slept, not shut down.
