Images on the Skin
« on: October 26, 2019, 09:18:29 am »

I remove the images in the Skin and replace them with my own photographs which then gives me a screensaver when not playing music or on some radio stations. Unfortunately when MC gets refreshed the images are removed and replaced with the usual Van Gogh etc. It takes 40 minutes to replace the images.
Is there anyway to keep my images ?
I do not want to have a seperate screen saver, I want the images to be part of MC.

The easiest way to do it is to make a copy of the skin itself, rename it to something else (e.g. whatever skin custom, and make sure you change the name in main.xml) and switch to the customized skin in MC.

Thanks Awesome,
I've created a copy of the Default folder in the Themes folder, and have given it another name.
All of the images are there, without folders for Audio, Playlist etc. but that's of no importance.
I assume that because it is a different name it wont get touched during a software refresh etc.

You have save me a lot of time, thanks.
