first time is see these type of subtitles … rip from Mummy Returns bluray (using makeMKV) and remux with MkvToolnix

MPC-HC and VLC don't play them

Subtitle Edit can open them … and can convert to PGS or SRT … but its such a chore lol

MC does not play them too … upon selecting HDMV TextST subtitle … subtitle selection screen disappears … stopping the movie and playing it again - no subtitle selection is available (some subtitles in mkv are just plain PGS making them unavailable anymore) … need to restart MC for subtitle selection to reappear

If MC supports HDMV TextST then this is the bug … if not, maybe "grey" it out in subtitle selection menu to indicate its not supported (display that the subtitle present but make it unselectable … hiding unplayable subtitle type is not good as I wont know that my MKV has a problem that can be fix by converting TextST to SRT or PGS)

HDMV TextST subtitles may be supported in Blu-ray Menu mode, I'm not 100% sure on that situation right now, but there are no current plans for support in title mode or in MKV.
Unfortunately there is also no way to show unsupported streams.
