Audio CD to digital file
« on: December 10, 2019, 08:27:48 am »

HI. I would like to convert my audio CD's into digital files to play in my car via a thumb drive. Can I use JRiver to accomplish this and how do I do it? Many thanks.

Basically, you rip the CDs to a format your car can play from a thumb drive.

Alternatively, you rip them to a lossless format like flac and convert them, if necessary, to a format your car recognizes. That way you have the originals in the best possible format for future needs.

Some car stereos can't play FLAC as a heads up.

Also, include the track number in the title.  Thumb drives do weird order sometimes.
