Exporting Files and Playlist for import to Apple Music

I have exported FLAC files to a external drive as AAC files to then import into Apple Music for my iPhone as it will not place plan FLAC. However it will not accept the playlist that JRiver exports.

Is there a correct way for Apple Music to read the exported playlist??

BUMP.  I'm needing to export a JRiver smartlist to Apple iTunes/Music as well and neither will recognize the .jsxml file.

If possible, export the playlist as m3u files.

How did you export as AAC? I can't figure out how to do that.
