Netflix
« on: March 07, 2020, 07:39:49 am »

Hello.

I have chosen to upgrade my license to V26 for the only reason that is stated on the front page of the JRiver that new versuion supports Netflix streaming. And there is no Netflix in my newly installed V26.

Any ideas? I missed sometnhing?

Regards

Netflix streaming hasn't worked for a good while now, due to Netflix removing their public API a couple years ago. Past that it was still possible to get Netflix working with the embedded Chromium (CEF) engine until CEF removed the Widevine CDM plugin used for the DRM from their releases a year or so ago.

IMO, it'd probably be a good idea to remove the mentions of Netflix from the home page and the mention of Netflix and Hulu from this page since they won't work anymore.
