I'm curious how well this would work.  Let's say I have two PCs on the same network, each with JRiver on them, but running different libraries.  One PC has a network drive mapped as G:\, and the other has the same drive mapped as J:\.  I assume this would work perfectly fine with most files, but I'm particularly curious about MKV files.  I see JRiverSidecar files and in those is an element called FileName.  The file name has the drive letter in it.

At some point I moved my library from being mapped to S:\ to G:\, and in some of these sidecar files, I see S:\ in my current files, so I assume it doesn't really matter.

What would happen if I made the directory read-only to one of the users?  Would JRiver write those sidecar files elsewhere?  Thanks!
