I have a MC26 trial underway and would like to know how to stream Pandora, Spotify and Sirius and how to set output to mono. Eventually, I will move to a higher resolution source.

(the mono is because I am upgrading a Klipsch LaScala bit-by-bit and I am also building several different versions of a R120 indirectly heated SE tube amp -- in mono first)

Thanks in advance!

How to stream Pandora, Spotify and Sirius and how to set output to mono
« Reply #1 on: April 25, 2020, 08:42:01 am »

I have an evaluation copy of MC26 and have two questions:

1. How do I get a mono output from a stereo source?
2. How do I stream Pandora, Spotify and Sirius trough MC26?

Thanks in advance.

  • Where did I put my teeth?

1.  Try DSP Studio > Output Settings.
2.  WDM Driver (on the wiki)

  • The color of Spring...

The WDM driver is the only way to stream streaming services like Pandora, Spotify, Tidal, etc. through JRiver Media Center but it requires using the original apps for those services (with those apps set to use the virtual JRiver Media Center output). There's no native support for any streaming service.

Regarding mono, not sure if that's possible via the WDM driver. I guess the only way is to try.
