WDM Driver - Still showing v25 after upgrade to v26

Hello,

I have upgraded from v25 to v26 several weeks ago but only just noticed that the WDM driver is still showing up as v25. 
I use WDM to stream on my Windows 10 Pro Audio Server connected to my Integrated via USB.

I have uninstalled v25 from my server.  Screenshot enclosed.

This is known, the WDM driver in MC26 hasn't been renamed yet but I don't think it makes a difference, since I don't believe there's been any changes in the WDM driver (yet) from MC25 to MC26.

Seems like a relatively small fix - hopefully the JRiver team will get to it soon.

It's actually a bit complex because of the driver control Windows enforces. It probably won't get "fixed" until a new version of the WDM Driver is implemented. Updating the WDM Driver regularly caused bunch or users lots of problems, so JRiver just leaves it alone unless necessary.

However, you can just rename the first part of appears in the device selection function, using the Device Properties. I have, and now my WDM Driver is referred to as "JRiver Media Center 26 (JRiver Media Center 25)". Works for me!

  Using the HTPC as a MC Server & a Workstation as a MC Client plus some DLNA clients.
  Running JRiver for Android, JRemote2, Gizmo, & MO 4Media on a Sony Xperia XZ Premium Android 9.
  Playing video out to a Sony 65" TV connected via HDMI, playing digital audio out via motherboard sound card, PCIe TV tuner
