even without the plugin, JRiver can show everything but it just doesn't play the music... :'(

Dear Ven, TAK was former YALAC.
Are you able to send me a short TAK file or attach it here.
I will find out how to play them in MC - hope successfully.

So Ven, I was now able to play a *.tak file with MC.

First I was using EAC to convert one file from a cd into a tak file.
Then rename from *.tak to *.tta (I hope you don't have tta files in use)
Got in MC to option>File Type - select "True Audio" and mark "File Association".
Under "Playback Method" select "JRiver audio engine (using DirectShow filter)
Click ok and import now your "tta" files - they should be playable now.

If you have already imported them then you need to change the field "File Type" from TAK into TTA.

TAK is no longer under development. The last change of tak.exe was in 2013. I would recommend converting them all into FLAC files.

Hi Stefan,

It really works after changing the name to tta!

Thank you very much!

I've also added support for TAK audio files in the next version without the need to rename them.
