A set of tracks that don't work in an exported Playlist
« on: May 06, 2020, 01:08:05 pm »

Here is a curious case: I have added all my non-classical tracks to a Playlist in MC26. Then exported that as a simple M3U playlist. Out of the 7-ish thousand tracks there is one Artist/Album Artist (several albums) for which the exported playlist doesn't work when played from DS Audio (They appear as "missing", listing only the file name but no other info when viewing the playlist in DS Audio). All the other tracks display and play just fine.
In addition, the tracks play fine in DS Audio, both directly, or added to a playlist from within DS Audio. Has anyone seen this, too? Just curious.
many thanks,
Hans
EDIT: Since this concerned only one Album Artist and all the media files for this Album Artist are stored under the Album Artist's name I figured that must have something to do with the issue. So I renamed (with also physically renaming the folder) it, then renamed it back and now the problem is gone. Probably just another instance of a "whacky" special charter, in this case, I believe, a <Space>.
