Need support on JRemote

Hi I plan to buy the app JRemote for my IPad, but I need confirmation that it will control my Lenovo laptop ( JRiver MC ).
My intent is to select album and play them using an Ipad.
Can someone confirm if this app is designed to do so , thks in advance

Yes, it can do that as it's a remote. You can also stream content from a PC/Mac running Media Center to JRemote.

JRemote crashing when trying to play a live tv recording this is on an iPhone using the latest version.
All other tv recordings play without issues

HI, since the recent JRemote App update to Version 3.36, it can no longer connect to my laptop.
Still on the same network ,...

And this is still an issue. (JRemote 3.36)

The ability to watch a show while it's being recorded such as a live sports event would be great and the main reason to use JRemote for me...(ie catch the game while away from home!!!)
Even though being away from home is extremely rare these days ...

Must be a configuration issue Alain. Works fine for me with my iPhone and iPad. Stupid question but I've been making this error...Sure your on your Wifi and not LTE?

I am on wifi, can you please list the Network options that need to be selected . The problem seams to coincide with the purchase of a new network player; Yamaha using Yamaha app it can reads file on my laptop, but not via JRemote , can this be a cource of conflict ?
