In order to use JRiver expression language in external applications, I'd like to request an mcws function to evaluate and return expressions. I would personally be happy with a very simple implementation with a two parameter, one for a an expression String like "[Artist] - [Album] - [Name]" and one for a file, and jriver evaluates the expression and returns something like "Parcels - Hideout - Myenemy". Possibly on the File or Library path.

If I am allowed to get fancy, I'd like to be able to pass multiple files and get all strings back in one go. That would be awesome.

It will be part of v27, it's already implemented in beta.
. NEW: Added the MCWS function GetFilledTemplate.
