How to "forget" the server and start from clean state?
« on: December 15, 2020, 03:09:49 am »

My system consists of a library server (linux amd64) and several clients running on raspberry pi 4. On the server side I set up passwords for both read-write access and read-only access, the clients connect to the server with read-only access.

I want to give just one of the client machine read-write access. When I delete the server and add it again on the client machine, mediacenter "remembers" the old username/password and does not give me a chance to enter the username/password for read-write access. How do I fix it?

Many thanks in advance.

Change the pw on the server so the old credentials are invalid.

Oh that was so simple! I thought I had to edit some .ini file. Thank you so much!
