Whenever I'm typing into the main windows of MC 27.0.39 in my Debian PC, I have to wait for what I typed to show up and the whole application hangs until all the text appears (Using the Tags in the Action panel).

If I use F6 or F12 to sort files or get tags from filename, it types normally. No slowing down.

I had this issue in version 26 before I upgraded and was hoping the new upgrade would fix this and no.

I tried installing MC27 on my iMac and I get the same slowdown. They both use different libraries and my Mac mainly works with files on my NAS and my Debian PC only manages local files so it's not related to the files in the library. Maybe it's the amount of files in the library? Regardless, it should be slow all over.
