Problem with cue sheet and complete file
« on: January 27, 2021, 11:01:24 am »

I have a problem with MC for which I cannot find a solution: Some time ago I imported larger files with cuesheet and dragged the cuesheet (text) file onto the MC logo. MC recognizes the individual tracks and plays them. So far so good. Later I edited the original files with WaveLab and now import the whole big file (not the cue sheet) into MC and delete the cuesheet file. MC does not recognize this entire file as it is now, but only as the first track of the cuesheet and I can only play it longer as this former first track lasted. I deleted the file from the library, renamed it on the hard drive, renamed the parent folder, and deleted all library entries in the file. It doesn't help: as soon as I re-import it, the same error happens again. I have attached a photo that shows the result.
Any idea?

Check if there's any value on the [Playback Range] field. Clear it if so.

Many thanks for the advice, but I beg for pardon about not knowing anything about a "playback range" field.
One of the reasons may be that I am German and use the German language version.

It lasted some time until I found out where this tag is but finally found it. Thanks for the tip! This solved my problem.
