I have assigned a hotkey which calls MC27.exe /Append selected.
Activating this hotkey while in Theater View adds the selected album to playing now - most of the time. Some times it adds a different album. Probably the album which was selected before entering theater view.

It was using all the files instead of just the selected files, so I changed it for the next build.  Please let me know how it works once the build ships.  Thanks.

The append command doesn't start playback unless you check "Start playing when files added to Playing Now."

I found duplicate entries in my Resource.XML.  The Commands probably triggered additional operations which could have interfered.
After commenting out the duplicate entries it works fine

After using this playitem '/selected' for a while I must report, that it still fails under some circumstances.
The first time after waking up the device from standby, the command 'APPEND /selected' duplicates the selected file from playing now instead of adding the selected file or album from the list currently shown.

After pressing play, pause and trying again, it usually works. After that iot works for hours, until the device goes to sleep again.
