.... but I have a question for ye...

Supposed I have a playlist in mind that combines some rock music with some classical music.

How should I tag the classical music?

In other words, what fields are important to those who appreciate the complexity and inspiration of classical music?

Composer / Conductor is a good start.

Many thanks for your quick reply. I would have replied sooner, but life happened.

Some background, I've got a bunch of late 1970's classical albums to digitize (mostly the Angel label, with some of Angel's Sonic 45's) and, as I was digitizing them, I thought I might re-hear some music that may dovetail with my more extensive rock music knowledge. I remember it happening back in the day, so I thought, maybe there's a playlist in there somewhere.

It may be a while before I get there, though, So much vinyl, so little time.....
