Reimported my library (after saving and clearing the "old" one).
Import worked fine. However the "Number Plays" for all records got reset to zero. (Thinking about it, it makes even sense.) Though, that was not was wanted.
So is there a way of retaining this (or other lib tags) tag when redoing the library?
Can you extract it from the previous backup?

Where do I find a list of library only tags?

[And by the way: I had to redo the library because it was losing entries. During the past weeks I deleted many  Artist entries and reimported them (lots of changes, file names, additional records...). I ended up with a record count of 79.000 - the new library (same parameters) has 121.000!]

Could you help me here?

Backup your old library.  Restore in your new installation.

MC makes automatic backups.  Search for *.zip files.
