Cannot upgrade from version24

I downloaded the file MediaCenter240078-x64.exe and I have my key. But when I right-click on the file and choose Run as Administrator a progress bar appears briefly and then nothing. Double-clicking and not running as administrator yields the same result. It seems I can only upgrade by installing version 24 first, so I am stuck. What should I do? Thanks.

You could try manually extracting the files in the package with 7-zip (a free download) then running "Install.exe".

If your OS version is 32 bit, you'll need to install the 32 bit version of MC.
