cannot add music or link music from hard disc to jremote

used to use iAria on iPad which is similar to JRemote but due to Apple's unwillingness  to update it cannot be used at this time. JRemote works fine but I can no longer add new albums. How can I add albums or link albums? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
