Wow, I see a lot of feature request topics here! Year after year, I have gladly payed for the next version of MC. I typically find some great fixes and new features right away, but sadly I don't see much in v28 that warrants upgrading all my machines yet.
I apologize but I am not a serious audiophile, I have no idea what VST is, I don't use fancy expressions or complex tagging, I don't do ripping or use zone diversion or web browsing in MC, and I would rather use the avr source button to get to all my streaming video apps in one place.
Some things I would like to see in MC:
1. When a NEW tv show gets cover art on the Server, I have to restart MC on all my clients to get that cover art to show up. And if I change the tv show cover art on the Server, I have to close MC on all my clients and manually delete the thumbnail folders in windows explorer and then restart MC on all the clients to get the change to show up, then rebuild all thumbnails of course.
2. Clients should be able to show standard view>television "Tv Logs" and "Show Tuner Status" from the Server, not the client.
3. Work on a method for opening MC clients and remotes (like Panel) as a different "User", other than the user that the Server is currently logged in as. Example: MC running on the Server as View>User>Living Room. I want to open Panel as View>User>Administrator, but it will only open as user "Living Room", no way to choose another User.
