Audio Filename Path Problem - PLEASE HELP
« on: July 29, 2021, 10:58:44 pm »

I have JRiver Media Centre 27 on my iMac. I just changed the pathway name for JRiver to locate my music which is currently on my external hard drive. It used to be /Volumes/Seagate/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music/.... and the only change I made was "iTunes Media" was renamed "iTunes Music". Everything else is identical. The reason I changed it is because that is how iTunes has the files named in High Sierra's version of iTunes and I will soon be moving to a new computer with High Sierra OS and putting my music files back on my mac hard drive instead of my external drive. I wanted the file naming to be the same. I assumed this change would cause J River to be unable to locate the music files but I've been unable to fix the path. For some reason it's not working the same way as when I originally moved my iTunes from my Mac to my EHD. The location of my music hasn't changed, just the naming of the pathway. Could really use some step by step help, please.
