If you update the library from the tags does it straighten out?  If not, could you email me one of the files?  I'm matt at jriver.  Thanks.

Hi, I'm getting wrong bitrate in some audio files, when playing the file the bitrate is working properly (Blue) but in the file listing is wrong (Red)

The bitrate in the player window (the blue one) is the bitrate for the point 2:31 into the track and will constantly change while the track is playing, the bitrate in the lower part (the red one) is the average bitrate for the track. The only time the 2 would constantly show exactly the same bitrate would be if a CBR Lossless File (i.e. MP3) was being played.

PM sent.

Yes, but if you look the bitrate is way tooo different from the average, a CD has a bitrate about 1000 but this one shows 25000.

Thanks for the file.

I import the CUE and it shows a bitrate of 992 which seems about right.

So it seems like it's working.  Try updating the library from tags or reimporting.

Thanks. After removing all files and importing them again, the bitrate was fixed.

I found another one, this one doesn't gets fixed with refreshing the playlist.

Nevermind, was on JRiver 25, I still have to use it because I don't like the new equalizer.

Why not?  Are you using the latest version of MC28?

Yes 28.0.49 and I still prefer the old equalizer, even after I created various Rock presets, the old one is still the best for my tastes.

Well to me, sounds better, is hard to describe but I think the smaller band seems to create a better sound for rock, at least to my ears, tested on both speakers and headphones.

Even when I did a preset very similar to the 10 band equalizer, the new preset didn't sound as good as the old one.

I think it could be that the old equalizer had different bands

60   170   310   600   1   3   6   12   14   16

The new one has:

31.3   48   62.5   90   125   175   250   375   500   750   1   1.5   2   3   4   6   8   12   16   20

So maybe that's why it will never sound the same.
