Hello devs. Thanks for implementing the locked tabs feature - this is great! Here is a couple of suggestions:
1. Use bold type to provide a simple visual indication of the locked tab. Of course, a special indicator icon would be even better, but boldface would probably be easier to implement. Alternatively, consider an asterisk * preceding the name (as implemented in Total Commander).
2. The program should open all new (unlocked) tabs on the right after the last locked tab. That is if someone has three locked tabs, the new tab should always open on the far right, regardless of which one of the locked tabs had the focus earlier. The idea is to improve the "stability" and predictability of the interface.
3. Rearranging the tabs (locked or not) should be accompanied by a more intuitive visual indicator of the new position. Currently if one tries to rearrange a tab to a new position on the left or right the cursor changes into a confusing combination of two icons: 1) JR icon and 2) some strange "not allowed" sign which looks like a crossed black circle.
4. Let the locked tabs persist after reopening of the saved views, but only if those views were saved with locked tabs. In other words if a saved view was created / saved without any locked tabs and only later those tabs were locked, then reloading the saved view must clear the locked attributes. Otherwise, please keep them locked. Again, in my view, this would be intuitive behavior. Thanks!
