Jremote2 (2.3.1) fails to connect to server when NordVPN client is on

When my phone runs a NordVPN client (it always runs in the background), then I start Jremote2 and it can never connect to the windows 10 JR server. The moment the vpn client is turned off Jremote2 connects.  Btw, the windows 10 also runs a NordVPN client but it doesn't interfere.

In order to get this working for me, I set up split tunneling in NordVPN so that the Media Center executable does not communicate over the VPN tunnel.

Solved it for me.
