Choices for Remote Control of JRiver

I need the ability to remotely control JRiver that is running on a Windows 10 PC.  I was going to buy a new IPAD and use JRemote but wife hit me up and asked why not get the family a new Macbook and just use it.  Can I use a MacBook to perform the same control over the Windows PC to control everything?

You could either install MC on the MacBook and use it as a client to control the Server instance on the Windows machine, or simply fire up a browser on the Macbook and use Panel to control playback.

Thanks for input!  I wonder if it would just be easier to use JRemote and be done with it.  Wife wants a Macbook but I am about easy and reliable

See if Panel works for you, it will let you control playback from any browser on your network; phone, tablet, PC, MacBook..
