no more missing file flags?
« on: September 11, 2021, 04:37:28 am »

In the past, missing files were flagged with a 'red minus'.
Not in MC28 anymore it seems. I thought the flags were actually useful.

Are they missing on an internal drive or an unmounted NAS drive?

I don't know what a unmounted NAS driver is but the files are located on an external drive.

Go to tools->options
type in missing in the search box.
There will be an entry under tree and view
Is it checked?

thought I'd try unchecking/re-checking 'Display missing file image in lists'.
it won't let me. after unchecking and hitting OK i get this alert: Audio file location cannot be read-only.
All I can do is cancel, leaving it checked.
