Twilight Skin in 28.0.94
« on: December 13, 2021, 08:30:01 am »

Matt

There appears to be a problem with the fix that's not mentioned in the Windows release thread but is in the Mac and Linux Release threads

Fixed: Switching from a Display view of track info to cover art would give a blank white screen.

With the Twilight Skin when doing the switch from TrackInfo to Cover Art + Lyriics in Standard or Cover View the Background and Foreground colors are those specified in the skin i.e Black text on a Grey background.
But when I did that switch in Display View it is White Text on a Black Background for Every Skin

According to the Skin Info Window Sunset here in the UK happened at 15:51 but when the Clock in the TaskBar was showing 15:50 the Skin was still in full "DayTime" mode, the Info Window was showing a Brightness Value of -0.0.
Then just after 15:51 it suddenly switched into Partial "NightTime" mode with the Info Window showing a Brighness Value of -0.2433 and not the 0.2500 that it normally displays when in full "NightTime" mode.

N.B - This is the 1st time since installing the  Test "DLL" and subsequent update to 28.0.92 that I have seen the Transition to "NightTime" mode malfunction.

The saga of Twilight Misbehaving gets even weirder

This morning I started MC before sunrise and between 07:28 and 07:58 The Actual Sunrise Time, it started to Transition from "NightTime Mode but did not get all the way to "DayTime" Mode.
At 08:15 the Skin Info windows was showing a Brightness value of -0.0006 and not 0.0000.
Switching to another skin and then back to Twilight gave it the "gentle nudge" it needed because it reloaded in Full "DayTime" Mode.

This evening it did a repeat of yesterday and 5 minutes after Sunset (15:51) the Skin Info window was showing a brightness value of -0.2307 and not -0.2500.
I then did the switch to another skin and back and again and this is where it started to get weird because this time Twilight was slightly lighter and the Skin Info window had a brightness value of -0.1744.
I then redid the switch the skin trick, Twilight reopened even lighter and the Skin Info window had a brightness value of -0.1224

Even weirder - a full hour after Sunset I spotted that Twilight was in Full NightTime Mode, I'm not sure when it transited because I was away from the pc most of the time
