Why motion blur?

I just purchased and downloaded the latest version (v28) today.
I played a file stored locally on my computer - has RTX 3050 graphics
yet when there is motion - there is a blur for objects in motion (see attached screen shots and log file)

For now, try one of the other RO settings.  MC29 has some changes that may affect this.  You could take a look at the MC29 board for more information.

We definitely do not introduce any blur, and going by your log, your video is also not interlaced, so I would think its just how the video was recorded. Some degree of motion blur is quite normal in most recordings as it makes it look more fluid in motion.

Please let me know if this is something that jriver processing can correct  (even if it's a problem in the source material)
as I'm looking to buy a separate PC with specs to suit jriver to use specifically for watching such sports - and the seller of the PC (buying used) wants a response from me

If the blur is present in the source, then it really can't be removed very easily. Certainly nothing we have a feature for to do it on the fly.
