Configuration import/export
« on: March 10, 2022, 12:12:50 am »

Hi,

Is it possible to export and import MC configuration ? That feature would be very handy when we are upgrading to the new version of MC. Otherwise, we have to do the customization every time manually.

Do a library backup in the old version of MC, restore that library backup in the new version of MC.

Two of the most powerful tools that MC has are Database Backup/Restore and the Rename, Move, and Copy Files tool.

The combination of these things let you do magic with your collection that no other media manager I know of can do.  Moving your collection between machines, moving to new drives, reorganizing, etc.
